China Liubao Golden Flowers 2015

This China Liubao Golden Flowers 2015 tea produces a creamy and smooth, clean flavour, which lasts multiple infusions.

Liubao is famous for its red, strong, aged and mellow taste. Liubao flavours occur during fermentation and long storage, including a variety of flavours such as betel nut, wood, and medicinal.
This Liubao contains “golden flowers” or Eurotium cristatum (as seen in the pictures), a probiotic (perhaps beneficial) bacterium which can also be found in fucha and heicha (dark teas).

Recommended Infusion instructions:
Boiling but not boiled water (100 degrees Celsius – fish eyes bubble size, see Tea Making for more info)
4-6gms of tea leaves to 100ml gaiwan/clay teapot
You can do a rinse but I don’t as I find with most teas, the first infusion is the most revealing.
Infusions 1 to 3: 10-15 seconds
Infusions 4 to 6: 15-30 seconds
Infusions 7+: 30 seconds +
