A (Sri Lankan) Ceylon Vithanakande Silver Tips tea from the new Vithanakande tea estate, this fine black tea includes silver tips, giving a Chinese black tea character with hints of honey. Best enjoyed without milk or sugar. A great alternative as a breakfast tea.

A name change of product name from what was originally “Ceylon Vithendekende Silver Tips” product.

Recommended Infusion instructions:
Boiling but not boiled water (100 degrees Celsius – fish eyes bubble size, see Tea Making for more info)
3gms of tea leaves to 150ml gaiwan/clay teapot

Infusions 1 to 2: 30 seconds
Infusions 3 to 4: 30-60 seconds
