China Aged White Tea

This China Aged White Tea or Lao Bai Cha, comes pressed and in convenient foil sachets, weighing approximately 8 grams per sachet.
Pressed in 2023 using 2012 raw material, picked from a production area of 500 to 800 metres in altitude, the old white tea produces a lovely, sweet aroma and flavour of dried apricots and dates.
The leaves can take multiple infusions without losing the sweetness or flavour.

Available in a pouch containing 10 x 8gm foil sachets.

Recommended Infusion instructions:
Near boiling but not boiled water (90 degrees Celsius – crab eyes bubble size, see Tea Making for more info)
8gms (1 pressed square) of tea leaves to 150ml gaiwan/clay teapot
You can do a rinse but I don’t as I find with most teas, the first infusion is the most revealing.
Infusions 1 to 3: 15-20 seconds
Infusions 4 to 6: 20-30 seconds
