China Black Yunnan DaXueShan MingQian Tea

This Yunnan China black Yunnan DaXueShan MingQian Tea is also known as 23 years MingQian Pine needles gongfu hong cha.
The dry leaf scent is reminiscent of golden syrup. The flavour profile is full bodied and familiar bourbon biscuit.
This hong cha has a great chaqi which comes quickly and warms you very nicely, especially on cold winter days.

Finely shaped needle like leaves processed from the fresh leaves of Yunnan large leaf tea trees.

This tea lasts many infusions without losing flavour or strength.

Recommended Infusion instructions:
Boiling but not boiled water (100 degrees Celsius – fish eyes bubble size, see Tea Making for more info)
5gms of tea leaves to 150ml gaiwan/clay teapot
You can do a rinse but I don’t as I find with most teas, the first infusion is the most revealing.
Infusions 1 to 3: 20-30 seconds
Infusions 4 to 6: 30-60 seconds
Infusions 7+: 60 seconds +
