China Menghai Ancient Tree Raw Puerh 2005

This is a China Menghai Ancient Tree Raw Puerh 2005 processed using Yiwu Zhengshan large-leaf raw material.
This sheng puerh produces a clear, bright red-orange liquor, from leaves that are intact and well defined, when dry or wet.
The manufacturer is Banzhang Ancient Tree Tea Factory in Menghai County, Xishuangbanna.
The aroma and flavour of this sheng puerh compliment each other well. There is an initial hint of fruit maybe, but this moves straight into sweetness throughout the mouth.
The chaqi is very calming and continues for some time after.
If you infuse it for longer, the hint of astringency comes but it is very pleasant, and then returns to sweetness.

Available in 25gm pouch or 357gm cake

Recommended Infusion instructions:
Boiling but not boiled water (100 degrees Celsius – fish eyes bubble size, see Tea Making for more info)
6-8gms of tea leaves to 150ml gaiwan/clay teapot
You can do a rinse but I don’t as I find with most teas, the first infusion is the most revealing.
Infusions 1 to 3: 10-15 seconds
Infusions 4 to 6: 15-20 seconds
Infusions 7+: 20 seconds +
