China Xue Pian Snowflake Dancong Oolong Tea

£11.00

Example 1: This China Xue Pian Snowflake Dancong Oolong tea is a Phoenix mountain dancong oolong loose leaf tea and has a flavour profile of being smooth and rounded with a creamy orchid flavour and aroma. This tea leaves a very nice mouth feel and can be infused many times.

Example 2: This Phoenix mountain dancong oolong loose leaf tea has a flavour profile of long fruity floral notes of peach and nectarine moving into almost a muscatel note of Darjeeling tea.

Xue Pian Snowflake dancong tea leaves on the bushes have experienced frost, or even snow, and this is where the name derives.

The tea leaves can take multiple infusions and is great for gongfu cha sessions.

Both options are available in 50gm pouches

Recommended Infusion instructions:
Boiling but not boiled water (95 degrees Celsius – fish eyes bubble size, see Tea Making for more info)
5-8gms of tea leaves to 150ml gaiwan/clay teapot
You can do a rinse but I don’t as I find with most teas, the first infusion is the most revealing.
Infusions 1 to 5: 5-10 seconds
Infusions 6 to 10: 10-15 seconds
