Peacock Tea Cup

This peacock tea cup is a very decorative tea cup with the unmistakable likeness of a peacock’s tail plumage. Really comes to life when the sun hits it at the right angle.

The glaze used is similar to Jian Zhan using natural minerals. It is fired at a temperature of 1300 degrees Celsius which helps with heat preservation and improving the taste of the tea.

Around 120mls in volume, 8cm in diameter and just under 5cm in height.

Quite weighty in hand, you know you’re holding onto something. A nice lip to it too.
